04/15/09 - CCBL Invitation-Only Tryout to be held at Spillane Field
The annual Frank Finn "invitation-only" Cape Cod Baseball League Tryout will be held once again at Spillane Field in Wareham. Registration begins at 9:30am on June 6th at the ballpark - located on the campus of the Wareham Middle School & Wareham High School. The tryout will be held under the direction of Harvard University Heach Coach and former Gatemen assistant Joe Walsh.
Invited players will be contacted directly by either Jim Higgins or Peter Ford and only those players that have been invited will be allowed to try out. Bathroom facilties will be provided at Spillane Field, an athletic trainer will be present and players are asked to bring a wooden bat and batting helmet. The rain date is June 7th; also at 9:30am.

Organization and administration of the tryout is being handled by Cotuit Kettleers Assistant GM Sue Pina. All questions regarding the tryout should be directed to Sue and she can be reached at sp@kettleers.org or at 508-291-5834 or via fax at 508-957-8677.
Please do not park in the upper parking lot - adjacent to the Wareham Town Hall as this space is reserved for the Town of Wareham. Rather, turn onto Viking Drive which is just past the town hall and follow that by the Wareham Middle School and continue until you see the John Wylde Press Box. Parking is available along the street behind the press box and also behind the Wareham High School softball field.
