08/04/09 - Silent Auction - Gatemen Autograph Picture Album

CARY, NC: The Wareham Gatemen, in support of the Pan Mass Challenge-Jimmy Fund-Dana Farber Cancer Research, are auctioning off an incredible collection of '09 Gatemen player autographed pictures in the name of John Wylde. All 2009 Gatemen players and head coach have signed full color photographs and they've been placed in an album. This is a great way to remember the 2009 Wareham Gatemen season and contribute to one of the leading cancer research organizations in the world.
ALL proceeds from the silent auction go directly to the charity in the name of former Gatemen President and General Manager John Wylde, who presided over the Gatemen for 25 years and passed away earlier this year from a rare form of liver bile duct cancer.
To bid on this incredible collection, please send an email to CD4GatemenSpEvents@gmail.com with your best offer. Bids must be received by 6:00pm on Wednesday, August 5th. The winner will be announced in the middle of the 7th inning at Spillane Field on Wednesday. The current high bid is $260.00
Additionally, the winning bid will also receive an autographed University of Arkansas t-shirt signed by former LHP pitcher Dallas Keuchel and an autographed baseball by former CCBL MVP and current MLB homerun leader Carlos Pena from the Tampa Bay Rays.
