Alex Dickerson has come to Indiana as a freshman, and along with former Gatemen All-Star catcher Josh Phegley, is leading the offensive charge for the Hoosiers.  Alex came to Indiana as one of the top players in the San Diego area; playing for a nationally ranked high school team.  He drafted in '08 by the Washington Nationals. Through May 1st at Indiana, Alex is hitting .377 with 13 homers, 49 rbi and 120 total bases.  Additonally, he has a slugging percentage of .686 and has 13 doubles.
