Blake was named a HS All-American and was drafted in the 28th round by the New York Yankees before stepping onto the mound in Bloomington.  A freshman, he has started 9 games for the Hoosiers this season and has a 4-3 record and a 4.58 era.   He is part of an impressive starting rotation at IU that includes All-American candidate Eric Arnett and former Gatemen LHP Matt Bashore.  Blake is third on the team - striking out 47 batters and second among starting pitchers with a .254 batting against average as of May 1st.
