Brett is a two-way player and one of the best freshman in the country.  He was drafted in the 4thround of the 2007 MLB Draft by the Houston Astros.  Offensively, Brett hit .303 with 8 homeruns and 47 rbi. On the mound, he made 11 appearances, starting 3 games while compiling a 3-1 record and a 4.50 era.
