Bruce was signed by the Gatemen at the CCBL invitation-only tryout on June 6th.  A right-handed pitcher for the Red Storm, he led the team this year in starts with 11 and compiled a 5-4 record with a 6.09 era. Bruce led St. John's with 57 k's in 65 innings.  Before coming to St. John's, Bruce was named a 1st team CC All-American and was the district XV Player of the Year.
