Josh Mueller emerged as the staff ace during his freshman year at Eastern Illinois and was named to the Ohio Valley Conference all-freshman team.  He led the Panthers in wins, strikeouts & innings pitched.  His 79 strikeouts are the third highest total for a single season in Eastern Illinois history.  This season through May 19th, Josh has an 8-0 record and a 4.26 era; helping lead Eastern Illinois to the 2009 regular season championship.
