Matt is another well-rounded athlete from Washington State; lettering in baseball, swimming and wrestling in high school.  For the Cougars this season, Matt led his team in era at 4.01 to go along with a 4-4 record. Depsite starting only 5 of his 18 appearances, he led WSU with 2 complete games this season.
