(Wareham, MA) The Wareham Gatemen will be playing two games off the Cape this summer as they will face the Y-D Red Sox in two different cities.
First, the Gatemen will play the Red Sox at BC High in Boston, MA on June 12 at 6:30 pm. Then on July 23 at 12:30 pm, Wareham will play Y-D at Dunkin' Donuts Park in Hartford, Conn.

This marks the second season in a row that Y-D and Wareham have taken a scheduled matchup off the Cape. Last year, Y-D defeated the Gatemen 5-0 in a game also played at Dunkin' Donuts Park.
That contest was the first in league history to be played in Connecticut.
With another scheduled matchup at Dunkin' Donuts Park. this season, Wareham is hopeful that this is just the beginning of a long partnership with the Hartford Yard Goats (the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies).
"Playing at any minor league stadium is always exciting but going back and playing at Dunkin' Donuts Park for a second year is a thrill," Wareham Gatemen General Manager Andrew Lang said. "It is an experience that the players as well as our coaches enjoy and with Jerry [Weinstein] as the Yard Goats former manager makes it even more special."
"We are extremely thankful that the Yard Goats were willing to have us return and that the Y-D Red Sox were willing to participate in the game again this summer. Our hope is that this game will become a Cape League tradition as it's already a Gatemen tradition," Lang said.
Tickets for that matchup start at $10 and can be purchased by calling the Yard Goats at 860-246-GOAT (4628), going online to www.yardgoatsbaseball.com, or by visiting the ticket office at Dunkin’ Donuts Park. Suites are also available for this game in addition to regular seating options.
As for the game at BC High, that game is free to attend just like all other Cape League games.
